At 26 years and 9 months old, Pusuke was the oldest dog in the world. Sadly, he passed away this week, but he lived more than 125 happy dog years with a family in Japan.

The Microdry Pet team is probably one of the only groups of people and pets who want to go to the office on Thanksgiving morning. That’s because the company HQ is right on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade route. The team enjoyed a lovely breakfast and eye-to-eye views with the balloons that make the parade so famous. Of course, the most popular balloon to go by was Snoopy.

Move over Macy’s. Take a backseat turkeys. Tomorrow’s really about dogs as the National Dog Show takes place in Philadelphia. Over 2,000 pure breeds ranging from Afghan Hounds to Xolos will be competing for best of breed and best in show honors. Perhaps when they’re done strutting their stuff, the show dogs can indulge in a holiday feast. Tune in on NBC after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This just in from Mendel University in the Czech Republic: Dogs walked by men tend to be more aggressive than dogs walked by women. The same study also reveals that dogs on the leash are more likely to get aggressive because they can’t sniff each other as well as when they’re off leash.
