Opening Day!
Buddy loves baseball. He’s been following the New York Yankees since he was a puppy and frequently wears his Yankees collar around town. He likes the Yankees because they win and their team colors are more flattering to his fur. Today he’s hoping the rains hold off so the Yankees can beat the Tigers at their home opener.
Interior Design Goes To The Dogs
As a New York Dog, Buddy knows that finding floor space for dog bowls can result in creating an obstacle course for humans. Here’s what one couple did to clear the clutter in their small nest while still giving their dog with plenty of dining room.
Spring Fever
After a long winter, Buddy and all of his furry friends are ready to spend more time outside sniffing grass, trees and plants. Just be sure your best friend doesn’t try to eat the new greenery.
Calling All Furry Fashionistas
Though Buddy has his own signature style, he recognizes that some dogs might want to hire their own stylist.
Petiquette
Buddy is a big fan of dog runs and parks. Here are some rules he found for all dogs and their owners to keep in mind when playing at their local dog runs and parks.
A Great Dog Story
Buddy loves a great dog story with a happy ending. So he can’t wait to share the story of an 8 year-old boxer who disappeared from New York City two months ago and was found happy and healthy in New Jersey this past week.
Whistling Ball
A rubber ball that not only bounces as high as Buddy, but whistles while it flies through the air. This is great for warning unsuspecting people that a) a ball is coming in their direction and b) Buddy is in super fast pursuit.
Design, Buddy-Style
These tiles salute four-legged friends and look as soft as Microdry memory foam pet mats.
Molly Pfeiffer
Buddy salutes Molly Pfeiffer, the Manhattan dog owner who dived into the Hudson River to save her dog Boogie. The Wheaton Terrier mix had been chasing a seagull when she plunged into the chilly currents.
Dog Therapy
For three days, a pup named Monty will be available for Yale law students to check out of the library for half-hour “stress-therapy” sessions.
Dogs Gone Digital
Buddy just discovered a new iPhone/iPad app for dog owners to use in keeping vet records and finding pet-friendly destinations around the U.S. Check it out!

$1.5 Million Dog
Talk about a top dog: An 11-month-old, 180-pound Tibetan mastiff named Big Splash (“Hong Dong” in Chinese) was recently sold in the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao for 10 million yuan, equivalent to about $1.5 million.
Search Dog Foundation
Buddy salutes the teams of search dogs in Japan that are helping to find victims in the rubble resulting from the earthquake and tsunami. You can help with a donation to the Search Dog Foundation.
Buddy’s Toy of the Week: Rope Bone
Buddy can chew it, pull it, hurl it, shake it, and drag it, and it still keeps on ticking. It’s his go-to toy when he’s in the mood for a tug of war.

Dog People
We’re all dog people at Microdry. Everyday, there’s at least one pooch running through our halls. Our dogs inspire us and helped us create our first pet product, the Microdry Ultimate Luxury Memory Foam Pet Mat. They all loved it so much that they begged for more.
